No Army - It's Iceland

 

 Iceland is a country in European continent. The capital city is Reykjavik. The official language is Icelandic. The population is 3 people per square kilometer. The literacy rate is a 99%.  Iceland is a rich and developed country with low tax free economy.

 But the special thing here is the lack of an army. Although there are police, coast and air defense forces , Iceland does not have a permanent army.

 The 2011 Global peace index also named Iceland the most peaceful country in the world due to its low crime rate and high level of political stability.


 The Guinness book of world records lists it as " The country with the highest ranking of peace" and " The country with the lowest per capita military spending "




 ♥In addition, there are many things that are unique to Iceland and here are some of them...
  • shows that there are no mosquitoes and snakes in Iceland..
  • It is a well - Known fact that between their meals they eat rotten fish  and sharks..
  • volcanoes are common and there are more than 30 active volcanoes . There are also not springs in the country..
  • The gender ratio has been established in the country..
  • Iceland has a unique climate and natural beauty..

  My second school is Divulapitiya Sri Gnanodaya Central College. It was started in 1965 on the present premises and before that this bilingual college was started in 1941 under the name of  Divulapitiya junior college. It first principal was Mr. W. J. Mendis. Paradise on earth

About 70% of Switzerland is covered by the Alps. Switzerland also has some of the cleanest springs in the world. There are about 1500 lakes in Switzerland. Eg: Geneva, Neuchatel. These are clear enough that the bottom is clear. Switzerland is home to the world's tallest, most beautiful, and Europe's tallest train station. As well as a beautiful train ride, it takes a day to travel on this train route. The best snowmobile is also located in Switzerland  It is also home to the world's tallest wind farm. It is located at an altitude of about 2500 meters above sea level. The longest railway tunnel in the world is 57.1 km. Is. It took 7 years to build this. Swiss is also considered to be the birthplace of cheese, as it is home to a wide variety of cheeses It's the world's tastiest chocolate bar, and Switzerland's largest consumer of chocolate. I hope to go to Switzerland someday...💓💓
